From our Ostrava office, you’ll work on international projects and collaborate with experienced engineers to build modern web applications end-to-end.
💻 What will you work on
- Build and ship software with a strong focus on real business impact.
- Design, develop, and evolve modern web applications using JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Work across both frontend and backend (React, Node.js, APIs, integrations).
- Use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development, testing, and debugging.
- Take ownership of features end-to-end (design to implementation to delivery to iteration).
- Collaborate closely with clients and teams to turn ideas into working software.
- Act as a product-minded engineer - challenge requirements and propose better solutions.
- Continuously improve delivery speed, code quality, and developer experience.
- Help shape how we use AI in JavaScript / TypeScript engineering at profiq.
🛠 What we expect from you
- 5+ years of experience in software development within the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with full-stack development (React, Node.js; Next.js or NestJS are a plus).
- Experience building modern web applications end-to-end, including APIs and integrations.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and application architecture.
- Active use of AI tools in development workflows (e.g. Copilot, Claude, OpenCode).
- Ability to evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Product mindset - ability to challenge requirements and focus on impact.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Ability to communicate in English on a daily basis (written and spoken).
